Player profile
David is a qualified football coach by trade working with Colchester United’s Ladies team. Now in his third year as first-team Manager after a year as Assistant back in 2005/06 and 2006/07. Has played cricket for Clacton in the East Anglian Premier League and has appeared for Suffolk in the Minor Counties Championship. Could be found making the odd appearance for either the first-team or reserves and scored the ninth goal in a record setting 9-0 victory over Downham Town in 2009/10.

At the end of 2009/10, David guided FC clacton to promotion to the Ridgeons League Premier Divsion and to Knockout Cup success over Halstead Town before announcing his resignation from his role to end a superb career at the Bowl that put Clacton firmly back on the map.
